A group of community activist is launching a production of Eve Ensler’s the Vagina Monologues to benefit the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance.
In celebration of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, The Vagina Monologues will be performed in Richmond during the month of April. (Tentative dates: April 20 and 21st. Location TBA.)
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the play and will be held at the Action Alliance (5008 Monument Ave, Richmond VA 23230) on February 11 from 12:00-3:00. No acting experience is necessary.

All rehearsals and planning committee meetings will be held in Richmond. Rehearsals will be held 2-3 times per week for a period of 6-8 weeks.
